Dicentra Bleeding Heart

Dicentra spectabilis.

Named for its beloved dangling heart-shaped flowers. An old time perennial that loves the shade producing a spectacular array of tall wands lined with dangling blossoms. Spreads in loose moist soil into large clumps. Asian garden staple that naturalizes well with American mountain natives.
