Cercis Canadensis ‘Clump’

This is a moderate growing tree that is covered with rosy pink flowers in spring.  It usually grows horizontally.  The bark is dark in color, smooth, and developing some scaly ridges as it ages.  The twigs are slender and zigzag.  Attracts butterflies.
