Ruby Spice Summersweet

The Ruby Spice Summersweet was selected for vastly improved bright pink fragrant flowers that do not fade to white. Blooms in midsummer and has nice yellow fall color. Clethra is shade tolerant but will also withstand full sun. Flowers are very attractive to butterflies and bees. Summersweets are somewhat unique among late summer-flowering shrubs because of their ability to bloom in shady locations.
