Astilbe chinensis ‘Vision in Red’

This addition to the Vision series line sports pink-red flowers that open from purple buds over glossy bronze-green foliage that looks good all season long. This one is shorter and blooms a bit later than ‘Vision in Pink’. Best grown in partial shade and evenly moist soils.
