Late Season Watering
Frost is on the rooftops, but your plants still need water! No matter how you water, the most important thing is that you ARE watering.
Just as bears stockpile weight to endure winter hibernation, plants, especially evergreens, need extra moisture to aid in survival of the cold and wind of winter. Now, water alone will not guarantee survival, but it is key in the plants that we see survive year after year. A good snow pack also has its benefits too.
Please, water your plants as late into the year as possible, (up to when ground freezes).
If you, like us at the garden center, have to drag hoses and drain them each time, or you are hauling buckets, your plants will thank you.
